We are so sorry to hear of Uncle Fran’s passing. He was a terrific guy. It was at one of his pool parties that my son (now a Captain) heard from Uncle Charlie about the Massachusetts Maritime Academy. I was motivated to learn leaded glass work from Uncle Fran’s work in it. I loved a piece he made for Polly too. He was able to share his enthusiasm for creative activities in such a way that he motivated others to try new things. We will miss him but hold his memory dear to our hearts.

Lenore: I write to express my condolences to you regarding the passing of Uncle Fran. He, Charlie and Uncle Don were enormously generous to our mother during her time of financial need when she was left to be the sole support of four children. He graciously hosted us at his home for many pool parties. I will fondly remember my last meeting with him when I was able to thank him directly. Your son gave a beautiful eulogy. Thank you for the care you gave him over the years.
