Nicki Rae (White) Palmer

Nicki Rae (White) Palmer, 74, of Dennisport MA, died Thursday, February 6, 2020 at her home surrounded by loving family and friends. She died at 7:45 am after battling cancer.

Born in Alliance, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Dale V. and Helen L. (Carpenter) White.  She was a graduate of Ohio State University, where she obtained a BA in education, and Syracuse University, where she obtained an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy.

Nicki was married to Andrew Koloseus Palmer from 1967-2007.  While Nicki practiced Marriage and Family Therapy, and spent much time raising her children, Andy practiced Orthopedic Surgery. 

Nicki’s life was devoted to her family.  She was also devoted and extremely involved in her church. She was most recently a Treasurer and Deacon at Pilgrim Congregational Church, Harwich Port, MA. She was an artist and loved watercolor painting.  

She is survived by her children, Kevin Koloseus and his wife Candice of Delray Beach, FL, and Brandon Alexander and his wife Marisa, of Madison, WI; her siblings Juanita Gaynell Quinlan (Ron) of Alliance Ohio, Judith Elaine Saunders (William) of Columbus Ohio, Patricia Dale of Lajolla CA, and Jacqueline Sue Lewis of Akron Ohio. Also surviving are two grandchildren; Peyton Isabella, and Emerson Lee.

Nicki’s Memorial Service will be held in the sanctuary of Pilgrim Congregational Church, 533 Route 28, Harwich Port, MA on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 3 pm.
