Ralph A. Maglio

Ralph Maglio, pre-deceased by his wife June (Moffette), He was the son of Dominic Maglio and Ida Maglio (Martorano) from East Boston. He was the brother of the late Robert Maglio, brother in law of Adrienne and uncle of Bruce, Mark, Andrea, Michele, Carl, Matthew, Tom and Maria. Also an additional niece Sarah Merrow and 2 nephews Peter and Tom Merrow from his wife's family as well as numerous great and grand nieces and nephews., Ralph had no children of his own.

Ralph lived 93 full years of an exemplary life and passed away on Cape Cod after a long battle with lymphoma.

Ralph Maglio served during the final months of WW II in the U.S Army Air Corp as a combat flight photographer.

A dedicated researcher and pioneer in the field of latex chemistry. His career took him across the country working for many companies including General Rubber Company, Firestone Tire Company and Tillotson Rubber Company. He continued his work well into the last few years of his life doing consulting for many different corporations in the field of latex and synthetic latex. A true leader and innovator in his field.

Ralph loved automobiles and would always grin from ear to ear any time the conversation turned to sports cars of any vintage. Ralph was a pilot. He also enjoyed the ocean and was an avid boater, fisherman and could always be found plying the clam flats of Nauset searching out his favorite seafood treat.

When not pursuing his favorite interests he was a man who was genuinely interested in the pursuits of his extended family and their children. He will be missed by so many.

Services will be planned for the Spring.
