Bill Chapman

Bill Chapman grew up in Milton, MA and attended Milton High School graduating in 1989. After high school Bill went on to Bryant College and the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service. Bill moved to Cape Cod in 1994. He currently lives in Mashpee with his wife Liz and their three children Anna, Wil, and Dan as well as their dog Blue. Bill and his family are members at Christ the King Church. He enjoys spending time with his family skiing and boating. He is an avid New England sports fan and enjoys golfing.

Jay Rojas was born and raised in Hoboken, NJ, the home of the late and great Frank Sinatra. He has over twenty years of experience in Hospitality Management, working for companies such as Marriott and Ocean Edge Resort and Golf Club. Jay, a current resident of Harwich, spends his time enjoying the simple and wonderful life that Cape Cod offers with his wife, Yancey, their children, and grandchildren. Jay has a love for music, and in his spare time, he plays guitar, sings, and writes songs.

Amy Ladd is the Funeral Services Administrator for our Falmouth locations. She brings to the team expertise in office management, program administration, and customer service and has over 20 years' experience in the hospitatily industry. Amy is a longtime Falmouth resident with her husband Pete and their three children Alison, Jack and Sam.

Brian Laramee

Brian Laramee grew up in Weymouth and has been a licensed funeral director & embalmer working with the Chapman family since 1978. Brian proudly served our country spending 4 years in the United States Army and 2 years in the United States Navy. He and his wife Barbara live in Falmouth and have three kids, Kelly, Kevin, and Kyle.

Michelle Frasca

Michelle Frasca is from Medway, Massachusetts and began working with the Chapman family in April, 2021. She is a licensed apprentice funeral director and will graduate from FINE Mortuary College with an associate degree in mortuary science in 2022. Michelle has a soft spot for community involvement with the funeral home and finding ways to improve aftercare services offered to families. In her free time, she enjoys being with friends, cooking, and spending time with her pets.

John Bourgoin

John Bourgoin was born and raised in Falmouth, MA. He attended Boston College and St. John's Seminary, from there he attended Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service and received his Funeral Directors license. John joined the Chapman family in 1996. He has three children; Nicholas, Caitlin, and Harrison. John enjoys kayaking, biking, and walking on the beach.

Amanda Fidalgo

Amanda grew up in Brockton and lives in West Bridgewater with her husband, John and 3 children: Alanna, Sadie and Gabriel. She graduated from Mount Ida College and has worked in Funeral Service for 17 years. Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and attending her children’s many sporting and school events.

Ben Poinier

Benjamin Poinier, Licensed Funeral Director for six years, has worked in healthcare for 30 years prior to making the switch to become a director. Previously working for a mainly Jewish funeral home, he is well versed in the needs of many faiths. Ben graduated with a degree in Psychology from Curry College and was licensed through FINE Mortuary College. His wife Kerry, son Carter, and two crazy pups are what keep him thriving. When not at a soccer game, Ben loves to spend extra time with his family playing or watching soccer, playing golf, as well as traveling when possible.

Mike Spellman

Mike grew up in Boston where he started a career in public service in 1987.  He relocated to Falmouth in 1995 where he and Tracey, his wife of 30 years, raised their 4 children.

Retired in May of 2022 after 35 years of public service with Mass Trial Court System when he joined Chapman full time. Mike likes to travel with his wife and spend time with his adult children and grandchildren.  An avid Sports fan and long-time volunteer in youth hockey and Falmouth sports, Mike now Lives in Bourne with Tracey and dogs Hank and Stout .

Kayla Burnell

Kayla Burnell of Mashpee has been with the Chapman team since May of 2022, she has 10 years of customer service experience. She is a graduate of Westfield State University with majors in Vocal performance and literature. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, and teaching her cat Dozer new tricks.

Megan Dunn

Megan grew up in Quincy and lives in Pembroke with her husband Jim and 3 children: James, Brady and Charlie.  She graduated from Mount Ida College with her bachelor’s degree.  Megan has worked in Funeral Service since 2009 but has known she wanted to be a funeral director since the first grade.  Outside of work, she enjoys attending her son’s hockey games and school events.  Megan also participates in community activities and volunteer work.

 

Scott Masterson

Scott Masterson lives in Mashpee and has worked with the Chapman family since 2012. Scott has been in the funeral industry since 2000 and enjoys working and serving the families in their time of need.

Rob Corliss

Rob Corliss was born in Mesa, Arizona. He was raised in Whitman, MA and graduated from Whitman Hanson High School. Rob has an associate degree from Fine Mortuary School. He and his wife Crystal have a son named Connor. Rob enjoys playing guitar and riding his motorcycle.

Jodi Blute

Jodi Blute is a graduate of Chatham High School and earned a bachelor's degree in management from UMass Lowell. She is the Office Manager for the funeral home and enjoys utilizing her creative side personalizing stationary products and tribute videos for families. She is also in charge of Rosie which keeps her very busy. Jodi and John have three children Jack, Maura & Charlotte.

William C. Moore

William C. Moore became a licensed funeral director in 1984. He is a two-time past president of the Massachusetts Funeral Directors Association. Bill and his wife Marilou have two children, William C. Moore Jr., and Kristin L. Frey. He is an avid runner and has completed several marathons. Bill went to music school and plays the trumpet. He loves helping families in their time of need.

Mark Rothman

Mark Rothman started his career in the funeral industry in 1987. He graduated from the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service. Mark lives with his wife Mary in Falmouth, and they have three kids Emily, Aimee, and Andrew. In his time off Mark enjoys the beach, spending time with his family and watching sports.

Chappy

Chappy is an Australian Cobberdog (cobber is an informal way of saying friend in Australia). It was recognized as an offical breed in 2012. He is similar to a labberdoodle as he is hypoallergenic and doesn't shed. He loves to be with people as often as he can.

David Chapman

David lives in Falmouth with his wife Victoria, children Trey & Georgie and their therapy dog Chappy.  David graduated from New England College and Fine Mortuary College.  He is an active member of the Falmouth community and enjoys outdoor activities with his family and friends.  

John Blute

John Blute is a lifelong resident of Harwich and a second-generation funeral director following in the footsteps of his father, Ed Blute. John graduated Harwich High School and earned a bachelor's degree in Finance from Salve Regina University and an associate's degree in Mortuary Science from Mt. Ida College in Newton. He joined Kevin & Neil in 2009 to form Morris, O'Connor & Blute Funeral Home. He and Jodi live in Harwich with their three children.

Rosie

Comfort Dog

Rosie is an Australian Cobberdog (cobber is an informal way of saying friend in Australia). It was recognized as an offical breed in 2012. She is similar to a Laberdoodle as she is hypoallergenic and doesn't shed. She has recently passed three required classes and is ready to take Canine Good Citizen to earn her Therapy Dog Certification. While she still shows the excitement of a young dog, she is a friendly and comforting presence for those who wish to meet her.

Michael Drummey

Michael Drummey has been a licensed funeral director for 40 years. He moved to the Cape in 2004 when he started working at John Lawrence. Mike and his wife Jo-Anne have a daughter Christie Gilmore.

David Hunt

David Hunt is a Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer for over 30 years. Ne is a native of Chatham and a graduate of Cape Cod Regional Technical High School and NEI mortuary school. Dave worked for many years at Nickerson Funeral Home in Chatham. He and his wife Mary Beth have a daughter named Alena. Dave is active in various Masonic organizations. In his spare time he enjoys riding his Harley Davidson.

Michelle Marion was born and raised in Falmouth, Ma. She is the chief accountant for the business, taking over for Bill Sr. when he retired in 2015. Michelle ejoys skiing, kayaking and boating, as well as, spending time with her dogs. She is the co-chair for the Falmouth Christmas Parade.

Nancy Booth

Nancy Booth is an Administrator and the heart & soul of the office. She was born and raised in Reading, Ma where she had a 28 year career in a family owned manufacturing company. Nancy and her husband Jamie live in Osterville.

Rochelle Reid

Rochelle was born and raised in Westmoreland, Jamaica. She earned her bachelor's degree in Hospitality and Tourism from Montego Bay Community College. Rochelle graduated from Commonwealth Insitute of Funeral Service in 2020. Mark Chapman

Mark Chapman grew up in Milton, MA. He attended St. Sebastian's High School in Needham graduating in 1995 and went on to attend St. Michael's College graduating in 1999. After college he decided to go into the family business and attended the Funeral Insititute of the Northeast recieving his funeral directors license in 2001. Mark and his wife Kara live in East Bridgewater with their three children Jack, Ben, and Nora. Mark enjoys spending time with his family and friends as well as his dog Gizmo. In his down time, he likes fishing and golfing.

Adam MacDonald

Adam MacDonald grew up in the funeral industry. He attended Mount Ida College and has been a licensed funeral director for 15 years. Adam lives in East Falmouth with his wife Caitlin and their daughter Fiona. He enjoys hunting and is a member of the Falmouth Rod and Gun Club.

Stephanie Alonso

Stephanie Alonso was born and raised on Cape Cod. Stephanie began working at the funeral home in 2016 as a receptionist which sparked her interest in becoming a licensed funeral director. Her interest became a reality in 2020 when she became a fully licensed funeral director. She also has a master's of Science degree in Counseling. Away from the office Stephanie keeps busy raising her nephew Julian. When she isn't busy with Julian she loves walking her dog Stinky, working out and doing puzzles.

Theresa Poule

Theresa Poule became a licensed funeral director in 1985. She prides herself in putting the families she serves first. She listens to their needs, gives them choices and tries to treat each family as she would want to be treated. She is a member of Christ the King Parish. Theresa lives in Mashpee with her husband Bill, together they have two daughter and five grandchildren.

Emma Bleiler

Emma has worked with the Chapman family since 2016.  Originally from South Carolina, Emma lives in Falmouth and is a graduate of Umass Dartmouth and FINE Mortuary College.  In her spare time she enjoys hiking and the beach.

Lenny Verville

Lenny lives in Oak Bluffs with his wife Linda and has been on island since 2000 when he joined the funeral home.  He enjoys living and working with the people on Martha's Vineyard.  In his spare time he likes biking and running.  

Christopher Berg

Chris began his career with the Chapman family on December 7, 1987 and received his funeral directors license one year later.  He moved to Wareham in 1993 when the Chapman family constructed a funeral home on Cranberry Highway.  Chris is a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church in Wareham and a member of the Knights of Columbus.  He was past-president of the Massachusetts Funeral Directors Association and is currently serving on the board of directors.  Chris and his wife Kim have two daughters, Meghan and Gabriella. He enjoys boating and attending his kids sporting events.

 

James A. Nordquist

James Nordquist, CFSP, CPC, graduated from Wachusett Regional High School in Holden. After high school Jim attended Worcester State University where he received a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He began his funeral career as an apprentice in Holden, MA and from there became a licensed funeral director after attending Mt. Ida College recieving an associate's degree in Mortuary Science. Jim began working at Chapman Funerals & Cremations in 1999. His is a past chairman for the Wareham Council on Aging and a Board Member of the Gleason Family YMCA. He resides in Mattapoisett and enjoys landscaping and gardening.

Al Berard

Al Berard retired as a correctional officer in 2016. Al has worked at the funeral home for about 4 years. He lives in Onset with his wife Patty and together they have a son Kyle. Al is a avid New England sports fan.

Jodi is a lifelong Cape Cod resident who joined the Chapman team in March of 2021 and brings nearly 20 years of customer service experience with her.  While providing excellent administrative assistance for the Wareham location, she enjoys taking great care in preparing memorial materials for the families we serve.  Jodi graduated from Westfield State University with majors in vocal performance and music history.  She lives in Falmouth with her partner Peter and their cat George.  Jodi and Peter are both active members of the Falmouth Theatre Guild as well as local big band Stage Door Canteen.

Brian Carey

Brian Carey has worked part-time at the funeral home since 2002 and in 2020 Brian became a full time employee. He and his wife Christina have four children. Brian is an active member of the community and has served on the DY School Committee since 2011.
