So very sorry for all. Van was a very special "family" member who always made us smile. We were honored to have him in our lives. Love to all.

Sandy Van Cleave of Austin, TX wrote:

My condolences to the family. Although due the distance, I only got to see my great Uncle Phillip a few times, but those memories had always stayed with me. I have enjoyed all of the stories that my Dad (Gary) has shared about their time together. Rest In Peace.

Patti Sojka of Raleigh, NC wrote:

Nancy and I were best friends at Washington high school. I meet her wonderful parents, Phillip and Marguerite, during visits to their home. Together they raised a beautiful daughter. During a visit last summer, Nancy showed me her dad’s wood carving of the Cape Cod shore line. It was beautiful! His hobby kept him connected with his community. Our deepest sympathies to the Van Cleave’s and their extended family, Patti and Rich Sojka
